Rawcliffe Meadows Work Party 20th January 2013 10:30 onward

Subject to weather conditions and water levels we hope to make another attempt at planting elm saplings. In which case we will start in the copse at around 10:30. Please bring a spade if you can. The elms are to be logged as part of the Great British Elm Experiment. This winter we have twenty saplings to plant and register, we should also have around twenty five next boxes to put up in the copse some time soon, which is all enabled by a grant from the partnership between First Transpennine Express (FTPE) and the Forestry Commission.
