We have mentioned before that contractors employed by Yorkshire Water are due on site to upgrade the sewer pipe running between Clifton Hospital and the treatment plant north of the Park & Ride. This has been delayed and work is now due to start on 28 May and last for 20 weeks.

If you witness any further leaks in the meantime please contact the Yorkshire Water customer helpline on 0845 1 24 24 24 – just tell them that you are not a billing address but still need to talk to them.

The replacement rising main will resolve the repeated sewage leaks of the last few years and we believe disturbance will be minimal.
