Sunday 2nd June saw a small group of Yorkshire members of the Wild Flower Society wander across Rawcliffe Meadows and Clifton Ings observing and recording some of the flora to be found there. Despite a wet 2012 and a cold Winter and Spring sufficient plants were found although not all in flower to have made for more than a three-hour stroll.

Along with the flowers there were butterflies and insects in abundance.
