The life cycle of the tansy beetle is described in detail in Chapman, et al., (2006), Ecology of the Tansy Beetle, Naturalist 131 and Oxford et al., (2003), The jewel of York – ecology and conservation of the Tansy Beetle, British Wildlife, June 2003 but in honour of Insect Festival 2013 I though it worth displaying a few pictures of some of the stages the beetles go through in their short life.
