Subject to the New Meadow and damaged area to the north having been ploughed and power-harrowed before then, along with the hay bales having been delivered, it is hoped to spread the hay on Sunday afternoon from two bales cut from Clifton Ings in July in an attempt to recreate the meadow to the glory it was prior to last year’s sewage leak. After this it will be rolled and fenced off again to give the seeds chance to germinate.
If anyone can help, especially if they can bring a rake, please come along for however long. We’ll provide dust masks!
