Friends of Rawcliffe Meadows Work Party Sunday August 11th 10:30 onwards at the Pond

The next planned work party is on Sunday, August 11th  from 10.30 to 1 pm at the Pond. It’s tansy beetle time and as they resurface we’ll be clearing around the tansy plants in the pond enclosure to make them feel welcome.

After that the next planned one is Thursday August 22nd  from 7 to 9 p.m. People are welcome to join in anytime in that window, or even outside of it…

There may be some additional times when particular help is needed, particularly on the New Meadow, and there may be email ‘news flashes’. The good news is we’ve received the promised funding from Yorkshire Water so can go ahead planning the next tansy beetle habitats, designing new interpretation boards and thinking about a sand martin habitat.

Having played about with the website a little more, due to the departure of Mike & Helen, I found we’d dropped a few people off the email circulation list, so sorry! If you don’t want to be on it let us know.

Thanks for any help!
