Sundays are normally 10:30 until 13:00. Thursdays from 19:00 until 21:00. We do have a big plan of lots of things that need to be done to look after Rawcliffe Meadows and its inhabitants.
Other events planned include:
· an on-site talk about Tansy Beetles on Sunday May 11th at 12:00 by Dr Geoff Oxford of York University and a good chance to see them in the wild
· (hopefully) a workshop on creating a wildflower meadow from scratch in June
We’ve also been invited to have a stall at the BugFest at the Ryedale Folk Museum in Hutton-le-Hole on Sunday 29th June, and Martin Hammond is giving a presentation at the Floodplain Meadows Partnership conference in South Cerny, Gloucestershire 14/15th May.
Please note: EA contractors are repairing the path between the allotments from 8th April for a week, after that we plan to have a small number of cattle on until the 28th April.
