The next Friends of Rawcliffe Meadows Work Party is on Thursday 17th April 2014 from 19:00 by the New Meadow towards the north of the site. We’ll be preparing the new sites for tansy plants by strimming and raking off the cuttings and cutting back weeds around some existing clumps of tansy, so we’ll have to tread carefully. If you didn’t see a beetle on the 23rd March or 6th April – now’s your chance!
Volunteers welcome for all or part of that period. Please look out for the A board to see where we are.
So, if you’d like to help manage one of England’s newest Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) please come and help!
