Feedback received from a visitor to Rawcliffe Meadows:

I was recently house/dog sitting near the Ings and my daughter suggested it would be easier for me to take her dog there and thus avoid any road traffic. It is a beautiful area and York residents are fortunate to have such a place to visit and I certainly enjoyed it, walking there most days for 2 weeks, but the number of cyclists who think it is acceptable not to give any warning of their approach amazed me. As a cyclist in my younger days I was always told to ring my bell to advertise my presence. Could polite requests be placed at various points on the pathways to give warning to others. This would certainly ensure a safer environment for both cyclists and walkers and reduce trips and falls in the less mobile and older people. Thank you,
