The Next Friends of Rawcliffe Meadows Work Party is on Sunday 4th May 2014 from 10:30 to 13:00 by the New Meadow towards the north of the site.  We’ll be clearing weeds around some of the actual tansy clumps and the planned ones or may be raking hay if the New Meadow and repaired section of the Barrier Bank have been cut.

Volunteers welcome for all or part of that period. Please listen for the noise of the scrub cutter to find us!

Don’t forget Dr Geoff Oxford’s talk on Tansy beetles by the Pond at 12:00 midday this Saturday, 11th May.

So, if you’d like to help manage one of England’s newest Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) along, please come and do so!
