The Rawcliffe Meadows Cornfield Reserve has been attracting increased numbers of farmland songbirds during the cold weather and provides great opportunities to see species such as Tree Sparrow, Reed Bunting and Yellowhammer. These can be viewed easily along the Country Park boundary (approach from the Park and Ride) or the track from Shipton Road past the allotments. Friends of Rawcliffe Meadows maintain a seed hopper as a feeder near the Cornfield gate which is favoured by Tree Sparrows.
