The next Friends of Rawcliffe Meadows Work Party is on Sunday 15^th February 2015 from 10:30 until 13:00 in the Pond compound (very southern end of site – any queries of how to get there, let us know).

Weather (and water levels) permitting, the intention is to further coppice the trees to get more light to the tansy plants and allow them and beetles to spread further. We’ll also cut back and remove off the flood plain the remainder of last year’s tansy plants to make room for new growth. Volunteers welcome for all or part of that period. Wellies advisable but will bring saws, loppers and a couple of rakes. Please look for the A board.
