We are seeking funding for some public educational events on and about the different aspects of Rawcliffe Meadows.
What would YOU come to?
Currently we have the following titles:
- Early June – The Tansy Beetle: putting research into practice conserving the Jewel of York
- Late June – a mini-beast tour explaining how invertebrate surveys inform site management (ponds, grassland, dead wood etc)
- Mid-July – The butterflies of a flood meadow and how Butterfly Conservation use citizen science (transects, volunteer surveyors etc) to monitor population trends
