We are seeking funding for some public educational events on and about the different aspects of Rawcliffe Meadows.

What would YOU come to?

Currently we have the following titles:

• Early June – The Tansy Beetle: putting research into practice conserving the Jewel of York
• Late June – a mini-beast tour explaining how invertebrate surveys inform site management (ponds, grassland, dead wood etc)
• Mid-July – The butterflies of a flood meadow and how Butterfly Conservation use citizen science (transects, volunteer surveyors etc) to monitor population trends

We need to be somewhat scientific since the funding is from an academic body, but what would you like to hear, see and learn about? Please fill in the form below:
