The next Friends of Rawcliffe Meadows Work Party is on Sunday 22^nd March 2015 from 10:30 until 13:00

We’ll be working  in and around the New Meadow– you’ll notice that this and the tansy area near Blue Beck Copse has now been fenced off from the main New Meadow to keep cattle off the plants but the section nearest Ings Dyke needs removing, the remainder of the fence posts outside need to be pulled out and saved (lots of strong people needed) and we need further interplanting of the Blue Beck Copse hedge. Whilst we also add a few more tansy plants to our existing beds we may also be able to see if there are any of last year’s Tansy Beetles surfacing above ground.

The work party in April is on the 12^th and provisionally at Cricket Field Copse.

Volunteers are welcome for all or part of that period. Wellies advisable. Please look out for the A board.
