Friends of Rawcliffe Meadows Work Party Sunday 6th December from 10:30 at Cricket Field Copse

The next work party is on Sunday 6th December when will be planting some trees in Cricket Field Copse at the south of the site (over the Barrier Bank from the Pond). Before we can plant we’ll have to cut back all the Elder that has taken over , so loppers as well as spade may be a benefit.

For information –

The site has been flooded, and the cycle track became impassable. During the last month lots of fences, stiles and gates have been broken either by cattle or ‘humans’. We’ll have a lot of work to do in the Spring to make the site stock-proof again.
