Rawcliffe Meadows Cornfield Nature Reserve 1st February 2017

The Cornfield Nature Reserve continues to attract large numbers of birds, offering great opportunities to spot some uncommon species on the edge of York. A brief visit today produced 16 Stock Doves, 35+ Yellowhammers and 3 Corn Buntings together with many Tree Sparrows and Reed Buntings. Best views are from the access track near the flood basin.
