York’s Green Places (2006)
In cooperation with various groups around York and with the financial support of City of York Council and English Nature, the Sessions Book Trust published in 2006 a 47 page guide including 30 detailed maps of individual green places, a city-centre double-page map and a map of the whole area demonstrating green place locations, along with colour photographs.

The Ouse Ings, Their History & Wildlife (1997)
In 1997, the Friends of Rawcliffe Meadows published the above 30-page pamphlet written by Martin Hammond. Limited copies are still available by supplying a stamped & addressed C5 envelope (C5162 x 229mmA5 size paper, A4 paper folded in half) to the Friends of Rawcliffe Meadows.

Deep Meadows and Transparent Floods – The Story of the Ouse Ings (2017)

A major update from the 1996 publication with 20 years additional research. This book has been published and financially supported by the Carstairs Countryside Trust, May 2017 with funds from Friends of Rawcliffe Meadows and the Floodplain Meadows Partnership. It  is a glossy 100 A4 page paperback with beautiful colour illustrations. Please make cheques for £5 plus p&p £3.00 (2nd class) or £3.50 (1st class) payable to York Natural Environment Trust CIO.
