The next Friends of Rawcliffe Meadows work party is to take place on Sunday 1st December 2013 from 10:30 onwards with new ‘A’ board

The next Friends of Rawcliffe Meadows work party is to take place on Sunday 1st December 2013 from 10:30 onwards until about 13:00. The main activity will be clearing the newly planned areas for tansy to be planted at the north of the site, this will mean meeting by the crossroads of the N65 cycle track with the path in from Shipton Road between the allotments. Shears, loppers, rakes may all be useful.

We will also clear the tansy patch on the west of the New Meadow ready for the Spring regrowth and the planned cutting back of branches above them. There is also some hazel to coppice in Blue Beck Copse.

Look out for the new ‘A’ board pictured below to tell people we’re working close by onsite, we normally have a supply of leaflets to hand out to anyone interested.
